The Interconnectedness of Art, Nature and Spirit

On Friday October 7th, 2016, Gallery1515 hosted an inspirational evening.. The program included a curator's talk about the exhibit 'Amanda Arcuri: ILLUMINED', a presentation by Christine Germano on the effects of climate change in Indigenous communities around the world, readings about our connection to nature and a musical performance by Shadi Toloui-Wallace. Thank you to all those who attended!

Conversations with the Artist: Q&A with Floyd Sinclair

A successful and inspirational evening at Gallery1515! On Friday July 15th, 2016 Gallery1515 hosted an evening with Floyd Sinclair, who spoke about his art, his life and how they relate to recent events about discrimination in the media, particularly in the US. Readings about race unity followed, a talk by Executive Director of the Granville Island Cultural Society Barbara Chirinos and a musical performance by professional singer Joseryl Beckley from Sierra Leone, Africa. Thank you to all those that attended! It was a full house!!
